I don't recall this being done before but I guess anything goes in the Oscar races now that they have extended the best picture nominees to 10 (can they even find that many?). Just out are the 15 finalists for the best documentary Oscar. I think they still will cut that to 5 nominees. Included are my faves The Cove (which also inspired a classic South Park episode) and Food, Inc., plus film about my friend Dan Ellsberg, and the Doctors Without Borders flick and more.
