Pink Floyd's "Soundtrack" to First Moon Walk

I noted in the previous post--on William Safire's speech for Nixon in case the moon landing ended in deaths--that all kinds of wonderful and strange esoterica will be revisited in the days ahead. Here's another: It seems that Pink Floyd was in a BBC studio in London "jamming" live to the first moon walk. This "soundtrack" was missing for years, then bootlegged, before finally ending up, where else, on YouTube. Here it is below.  Evidently it is not the precise footage they were "jamming" to, as some of it seems to come from a later moonwalk.

Also see some of my other Armstrong coverage:   1)  NBC announces the passing as that of "Astronaut Neil Young."  2) When Armstrong was on the way to the moon, the NYT corrected a story from 1920--when it mocked science pioneer Robert Goddard for claiming we could send a rocket into space some day.

I don't recall the car being part of the 1969 moon landing?

I cannot believe no-one has commented on this till now!? Amazing synergy between a "saucerful of secrets" (approx) Pink Floyd jamming beautifully to the extraordinary new -nique images of the moon walk. Did they have it prepared? Beautiful - both the walk and the music!

@Steve, you are correct. But what this video does is simply taking bits and pieces from the different missions and laying the PF music to it.
I don't agree with the way it's done in this video, but I have seen the music and the video as it was broadcast by the BBC. This is NOT the actual "live" broadcast the article is talking about.
I'm thinking the author grabbed the wrong youtube video on this matter, because the actual BBC one is out there.
