Trillin Again Has Verse-Case Scenario for Campaign

Calvin Trillin, the witty prose writer, produced books on the past two election campaigns in verse, and he's doing it again this year, Random House announced today.  The book will be out in two weeks.  NYT reports:
Targets of Mr. Trillin’s rhyming observations this time are the Tea Party (“These folks were quick to vocally condemn/All handouts but the ones that went to them”), the field of Republican hopefuls (“Though first-tier candidates were mostly out,/ Republicans were asking, “What about/The second tier or what about the third?/ Has nothing from those other tiers been heard?”) and Michele Bachmann (“Michele, our belle/ Thinks that gays will all be sent to hell”).
