Sunday Morning in the Church of Beethoven

For this weekly feature, on Easter Sunday, what else could it be LvB's "Hallelujah" chorus?  In his hands, of course, it's roll-away-the-rock-and-roll.

315 On Sunday, during a religious service so0mewhere involving the new Pope, I heard a version of Handel's "Halleluiah" Chorus played in the backround during one newscast. May I observe that Handel was NOT Catholic, and that little baby Ludwig was taken as soon as possible after his birth to be baptized into the Catholic Church just in case, as was the custom then, because a newborn might not survive very long and you wouldn't want him or her thrust into Limbo (now no longer the doctrine). Maybe the next time the RCC has a ceremony that requires a "Halleluiah" Chorus, somebody could point this out.
